Ralph and Louise are in their 60s. They have been married for 37 years. They have no children. They are retired. They lead a quiet life. They never talked about what life would be like after, you know, after it happens … But then it happened. Suddenly. And now, three years later, Ralph is still struggling with widowhood and the consequences of past decisions. In this one-person drama, Ralph tells the story of a very special ring.

Joseph Smith is a German-American actor, director, and playwright who is active on both sides of the Atlantic. In the US, he has appeared in a total of 19 productions, most recently in the musicals Merrily We Roll Along (Sondheim) and Evita (Webber) as well as in the stage productions The Rainmaker and The Crucible (Arthur Miller). In Germany, he has been in a total of 11 productions, including three previous ThOP productions, most recently Andorra (Max Frisch) and Airness (English Drama Workshop) as well as in plays by Shakespeare (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Molière (The Involuntary Invalid). He is the author of several plays produced in both the US and Germany. Inclusions is his first solo-play.

Joseph Smith ist Deutsch-Amerikaner und auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks als Schauspieler, Regisseur und Dramatiker aktiv.
